1967.5 Datsun 1600 Project Car

This project car has a freshly rebuilt engine. All new engine components purchased from Rallye 10 years ago. Bored .060", new factory pistons. Reground Cam by Elgin Cams. All receipts included. Father/son project. Both are high quality machinists. (Son with United Airlines 36 years.)

Body is quite banged up. Floors solid.

• New Radiator core.
• New Clutch of course.
• Transmission feels tight (having very few miles.)
• Nearly all new hydraulics.
• Front calipers rebuilt.
• New aftermarket brake master cylinder installed today!
• New rear cylinders and brake hoses.
• New Gas-Adjust KYB shocks.
• Correct rebuildable 1/2 year seats.
• Frame in engine room and front suspension area was apparently cleaned up and painted when engine was rebuilt.

Car was off the road since 1976. Apparently only 52k miles. The engine was built several years ago, project stalled when the elderly owner died. Beautiful work by both men can be seen in little details such as handmade stainless steel dog bone carb links.

Video of it running available. Needs complete exhaust system. (Have local shop available for same.) Factory exhaust manifold and correct head pipe in place so that really only 3/4 of exhaust system needed. Softop frame included.
